Summer 2018 Camps, Classes and Programs

All About Achieving Learning Centers Summer Camps are taught by certified teachers utilizing the most recent, research based science, technology, engineering, arts and math programming. Both half day and full day options exist, with full day campers switching camp topics at noon. Half day options are available from 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:30pm-3:30pm. Full day options are 9:00am-3:30pm. Early drop off and late pick up are available at the Martin County location for a small fee.

Campers are divided by grade groups and complete activities centered around various S.T.E.A.M. Camp Themes. Campers are highly engaged and groups are limited due to the content of the program. All programs are run with fidelity and provide unique, innovative experiences. Camps include Minecraft Education, Stop Motion Movie Making, Woodworking, Robotics/Coding, Virtual Reality, Google Earth, Mad Science, Chemistry, DNA to Dissection, Environmental Science and many more.
AAALC provides on site camps to children entering PreK-8th grade with a teacher/child ratio of between 10:1 and 16:1 depending on the target age group. All camps are staffed by certified teachers or a subject area specialist, such as a cake decorator or woodworker. AAALC also has additional support staff on site. AAALC requires at least one camp staff member be CPR certified and adheres closely the special allergy needs or dietary restrictions campers may have. All staff have completed Level II Background Checks and are experts in their field.
AAALC also partners with several off site organizations to provide innovative STEAM Summer Camp opportunities. These camps are also taught by certified teacher but take STEAM to the extreme as campers spend the week learning STEAM concepts from a unique perspective. Summer 2018 includes partnerships with Justin' Time Stables and Golf World.
Camps are typically full by mid April with many at capacity prior to that. A $35 cancellation fee is required for anyone cancelling more than two weeks prior to camp. No refunds will be issued less than three weeks prior to camp unless there is a waiting list and a spot can be filled. Please contact the office if you need to cancel your reservation or would like to be placed on a waiting list. Registration will close for each camp when size restrictions are met.
