Winter 2017 Special Events

Winter STEAM Camps: December 22 and January 2 & 3

Winter Camp programs will run December 22January 2 and 3. With a focus on STEAM-Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, students will work with everything from Minecraft: Arctic Adventure to STEAM on Ice!
 

AAALC offers full day camp options with a break for lunch during the Winter Camp Days. Full day camps occur from 9:00am-3:15pm. Campers will be placed in age appropriate groups to maximize benefit from educational, challenging experiences. Groups are small and led by certified teachers.

If a camp is unavailable for registration then it is full. To be placed on the Waiting List please contact 341-1400. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $25 fee for cancellations or changes that occur more than two weeks prior to camp. AAALC cannot issue a refund for any camps cancelled within two weeks of the camp start date.

FREE EVENT Stuart & Port St. Lucie: STEAM Into the Polar Express

All About Achieving Learning Centers will STEAM Into the Polar Express with a two hour event near you! Join us for this FREE EVENT to benefit local children and families in need! Students, grade K-5, from Port St. Lucie and Stuart are invited to register to attend these annual events. 
 
Young scientists will skate through various STEAM activities and join our instructors on a trip to the North Pole as they enter the wonderful world of Minecraft! Participants will move through four stations during the two hour event, working with a certified teacher on COOL science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities. 
 
-Minecraft Education: Polar Express      -Gravity Sleighs     
-Gingerbreak Man Escape       -Marshmallow Shoots and Christmas Tree Challenge 
 
(Parents can drop off and pick up children. This event will fill up as spaces are limited. Please do not register if you are not sure you can attend. All participants are asked to bring an unwrapped gift for a teen and a can of food. Your absence after registration will reduce the number of donations that can be made to local needy children and families. If it is closed for registration, please contact the office at 341-1400 to be placed on a Waiting List.)
