AAALC uses this popular game to provide an academic setting for students. Students will take an trip through a snowy tundra to discover the wonders and magic of the holiday season!

They will find or create models through various available software programs and then prepare the model for printing on one or AAALC’s three 3D printers by making design adjustments, creating code and managing printer functions. DNA to Dissection                                                    February 7,14, 21, 28

Do you know that you can pull the DNA out of a strawberry or banana or even a fertilized chicken egg? Do you know how to build a DNA strand that you can eat? Have you observed what’s inside different animals and what makes humans healthy? Future doctors, or simply budding scientists who are insatiably curious, will experience the wonder of humans, plants and animals and discover what makes them tick! Hands on experiences, virtual dissection and actual dissection will occur but will be age appropriate and will be taught in conjunction with a respect and admiration for nature, animals and the world around us.
