They may visit the Eiffel Tower and then design, build and test the stability of their own tower. They may travel to the Golden Gate Bridge and learn how different structures are built. They may visit the Louvre and create beautiful art related to a favorite piece found there. Campers will travel the world in the comfort of AAALC’s amazing science center!

Chaotic Chemistry     (CLOSED)                        September 20, 27  October 4, 11
Is your child a slime connoisseur? Does he know how to grow crystal spikes or make flubber? Can she create a bouncing ball or pull iron out of real cereal? Young chemists will jump into the fascinating world of substances. Students will identify substances of which matter is composed, investigate their properties and the ways in which they interact, combine and change, and use the processes to form new substances. You never know what they’ll bring home each day!

Creatures, Coding and Creative Challenges   (CLOSED) October 18, 25   November 1, 8

Join AAALC for some coding and creativity. Students will investigate exhilarating STEAM challenges through the use of various robotics and coding activities using Ozobots, designing techno creatures, creating Lego Robotics designs, and finishing with upcycled creations driven by simple homemade circuits. Students will learn basic coding as they program their designs to race through mazes and obstacle courses.
