The Science of Sports: Mind & Body (Location: Halpatiokee Park Rink and adjoining Field)

 

AAALC and i9 Sports will partner to provide an experience for the mind & body! Campers will spend the week studying the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering and math as it relates to sports and then experience each of the sports related to their studies. Building and programming soccer players and goalies while studying other STEM lessons related to the game, and then playing the game themselves, campers will learn all about the science behind soccer and how our bodies move. Virtual Reality and DNA extraction will boggle the mind and explain the body. Each day of the week will focus on a specific sports theme with the week culminating in a Friday Field Day. Get ready to learn and burn, calories that is!
