Seminar Descriptions

Several classes for parents/students are held throughout the year and focus on specific topics. Scheduled classes for 2016 include the following:

May 19, 2016  6:00pm - 7:30pm      Freshman Four Year Plan  (CLOSED)

Counselors will review high school expectations, graduation requirements, dual enrollment and AP classes and provide a linear outline of the four year high school experience.

INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENTS:

Parents and students will meet with a certified high school guidance counselor to discuss a four year plan.  The individual consultation will include an interest inventory and guideline for current state and national requirements. Information on standardized test scores, scholarships, opportunities within the school and community setting, and many other important aspects of planning your high school experience will be discussed.

For Juniors and Seniors, parents and students can work with the guidance counselor to review paperwork, scholarships, applications and other college requirements in an effort to maximize college admissions opportunities.
