July 13 - July 17: It's Alive!-Engineering and Design-Etiquette

Camps can be taken for a half day or combined with another camp for a full day. Four camp offerings will be held each week and any combination of camps is acceptable. Full or half day camp requests can be chosen from the RSVP menu. Camps will occur at Bridges Montessori School on SE Central Parkway in Stuart. Students attending half day should bring a healthy snack. Students attending full day should bring a healthy snack and lunch.

Engineering and Design Camp!
Ages 8-12 (Grades 3-6)
 
Engineering for Kids is a week long camp designed to engage campers in electronics, energy and design experiences. Campers will build and test electronics, mini-robots and roller coasters. Teams will work through engineering challenges that increase STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical) experiences using the Elenco SNAP IT! electronics kits and household devices. E=mc2= Smart Fun!
 
Due to popular demand this camp will be held twice and will be held during the weeks of June 15 and July 13.

~~Etiquette 101
Ages 8-14

Etiquette programs teach leadership skills that last a lifetime providing children with the opportunity to learn good manners.  Knowing how to handle yourself in different situations is a valuable asset that impacts all parts of life. This class will build self-confidence and self esteem.

This program is interactive and teaches etiquette through workbooks, activities and role play.

~~IT'S ALIVE! (P.M. CAMP IS FULL)
Ages 6-11 

Lions and tigers and bears!  Not quite!  Students will work with live animals such as mice, tarantulas, crayfish, snakes, hedgehogs, ferrets and more to learn critical reading skills and science processes.  Students will be actively touching and handling the animals. Activities will immerse students in hands-on learning while providing reading, writing, math, science, social studies, speaking and listening activities. Due to the popularity of this camp, it will be offered twice.
