It’s a Jungle Out There! (Entering Grades PreK - 4th)
The jungle is full of fascinating animals, plants and ecosystems. Join us as we travel through the world’s most famous jungles learning about the living things that make up these beautiful locations. Explore via virtual reality, create 3D models of your favorite animals, taste and experiment with favorite jungle foods. Campers will build a bridge over some tough terrain as they dive into science, technology, engineering, arts and math!
LEGO Creation! (Entering Grades PreK - 6th)
Bricks everywhere! Girls and boys will be presented with LEGO challenges to create both stationary and robotic LEGO creations that will require them to think critically, explore, collaborate and solve problems. This camp is all LEGO all the time with a twist! Teachers will begin each day with a LEGO challenge which each student will share with the group. How many different solutions are there? They will work to build various structures, recreate famous buildings and works of art and learn using these amazing bricks.
All Sports Camp (Entering Grades 1st - 6th)
This camp will allow your child to try many different and unique sports including Soccer, Football, Kickball, Dodgeball and more! Campers will be grouped by grade level and complete fun athletic challenges, learning a variety of skills which will provide them with experiences to determine physical activities they most enjoy while engaging in healthy activities with peers.
Minecraft: Parkour Survival Mode (Entering Grades 1st - 8th)
Minecraft Education: Parkour Survival Mode will provide campers with the challenges of surviving in the wild! Planning, engineering and design will combine to give students with the tools to create a one-of-a-kind shelter and community in rough terrain under difficult circumstances all within the world of Minecraft!
Movie Making (Entering Grades 4th - 8th)
Lights, Camera, Action! Are you creative and like to make your own movies? This week campers will express their creativity while becoming movie producers, using clay, LEGO bricks, artistic creations mini-figures and movie-maker software to develop stories. Campers will learn movie making as they create their very own animated movie by writing a script, creating a storyboard, developing characters, filming and editing. Campers can choose between digital art, clay or other mediums, such as LEGO, to write, develop and film movies. Students will also be introduced to green-screen technology and experiment with related components.
