DESCRIPTION:This course is available for students who have no knowledge of chess or are learning to play. Students will learn the names of the pieces\, how they move and how to play a game. They will begin to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each chess piece to begin to understand strategy within the game. Students will practice via play with each other and begin to develop more complex chess strategies ending in checkmate!
