DESCRIPTION:This is a FOUR DAY week due to the July 4 holiday. No camp will be held on Friday\, July 3 at either site. AAALC on site allowsÂ campers to sign up for individual days or choose all four days.Â Registered studentsÂ will be contacted prior to the camp week for daily movie choices. Those choosing the TWO DAY or THREE DAY options should register below and then contact the office at 341-1400 with the SPECIFIC DATE(S) and MOVIE choice for their child.\n\nSci-Fi Week: Where Science Meets the Movies! (CLOSED)\n(Entering Grades K-5)\n\nMix potions with Harry Potter\, build light sabers with Star Wars or learn about whale blubber and dry ice with Frozen! Campers will join AAALC for a full day camp that integrates the big screen with STEAM! Choose your favorite move and register for one\, two or three days. Half the day will be spent working on STEAM activities associated with these great films while the other half will be spent relaxing on the floor watching the movie\, eating popcorn and experiencing movie magic.\n\nJune 29Â  Frozen or Harry PotterÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â \nJune 30Â  Star Wars Junior Jedi or Hotel For DogÂ \nJuly 1 The Lego Movie or Peter Rabbit\nJuly 2Â Â  Frozen 2 or Sponge Bob: The Movie\n\nRUSH: Force & Motion\n(Entering 2nd-8thÂ grade)\n\nAAALC and RUSH are teaming up to offer a one of a kind STEAM campÂ experience. Campers will spend a week at RUSH Trampoline Park in Jensen Beach exploring the science behind jumping\, flipping and parkour! Is your child familiar with Newtonâs Laws of Motion and how they are evident in the world around us? What is the difference between kinetic\, potential and thermal energy and why does it matter? Mornings willÂ be spent in classroom lessons on force\, motion\, energy and related Physical Science\, while the other portion of the day will be spent jumping\, experiencing and experimenting with what they have learned.Â Students will be provided with activities that allow them to observe\, record\, experiment and understand what forces are at work when objects move! Cost includes all jumps\, one pair of socksÂ and related course materials. (NOTE: This is an off site event from 9:00am-3:00pm. No Extended Day is available. Comfortable clothes suitable for jumping and physical activityÂ should be worn.Â Campers will be dropped off and picked up by parents at RUSH in Jensen Beach. Lunch is available for purchase for $2.50-Pizza or Hot Dog and $5.00 Hamburger or Chicken Sandwich. Both options include a soda. RUSH issued socks must be worn each day.Â One pair of socks is included for the week. Lost socks can be replaced for a charge of $3.)\n\nImportant Notice: Camps fill up quickly. If registration options arenât open for specific selections\, then they are not available. Contact 341-1400 to be placed on a Waiting List. Cancellations requested more than two weeks prior to camp will incur a $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations within two weeks of camp may not be refunded unless there is a camper on the Waiting List. A $35 cancellation fee will still be applied. Extended Day is available by calling the office at 341-1400 to request to be placed on the list. There is an additional $5 charge for each day. Regular camp hours for students entering 1st-8th grade are from 9:00am-3:30pm with Extended Day services offered from 8:30am-5:15pm.Â
