SUMMARY:July 22-26: Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium-STEAM Into Baseball
DESCRIPTION:Baseball + STEAM @ Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium (CLOSED)\n\nEntering Grades 1 â 7: Campers will be separated by grade level and complete age appropriate projects.\nTransportation to and from the stadium is not provided. All students will meet at the stadium at 9:00am each morning and must remain with their parent or guardian until sign in is complete each day.\n\nAAALC and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium have partnered once again to bringÂ baseballÂ andÂ STEAMÂ (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, ArtsÂ and Math) together for a world class experience! Campers will spend the week at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium completing STEAM activities both on and off the field. Students will use baseball to study balance\, motion\, geometry\, mathematics and much more. Campers will be divided by age group and will spend half the day on the field and half the day off. On the field they willÂ experience the STEAM behind the gameÂ of baseballÂ and experiment with different angles\, positions\, equipment and more. Off the field they will work in a skybox and complete hands on science that supports on field lessons. Campers will receive a 30 minute lunch break in the Cool Zone. One day during camp week\, students will participate inÂ Splash DayÂ at the stadium\, complete with bounce houses and water wars! Each camper will alsoÂ enjoy aÂ baseball gameÂ from the AAALC skybox.Â Lunch is available at the stadium each day for an additional cost of $9. Students can also bring their own lunch.\n\nAAALC recommends the Knothole Gang Membership to any family that enjoys summer and baseball! This is offered by Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium and provides the memberÂ with a free baseball game\, hot dog\, chips and a drink each Tuesday night during the summer.Â
