DESCRIPTION:Several classes are provided by certified High School Guidance Counselors. They are helpful for both parents and students and are held throughout the year\, focusing onÂ specific topics that are helpful in navigating high school and beyond.Â Scheduled classes for 2018 include:\nÂ \nSeptember 27\, 2018Â  Â 6:30pm - 7:30pmÂ Â  Paying for College: Scholarship Savvy (FREE Seminar)\nExplore scholarships and financial aid. Learn how to identify scholarships that will benefit your student. Counselors will explain how to locate\, isolate and fill out applications as well as provide tips on creating successful scholarship and financial aid applications.Â Please do not register if you cannot attend. Group size is limited.\nÂ \nNovember 10\, 2018Â  Â  9:00am - 12:00pmÂ Â Â  Scholarship Application Assistance\n(Fee Based Program)\nStudents will work with counselors to identify scholarship applications appropriate to their specific needs and complete the application process. Class size is limited and will target high school seniors. Students willÂ work on computers at the AAALC office\, completing his/her own scholarship and financial aid applications. A counselor will be on hand to guide each student through the process and answer questions. A second date may be added for students placed on the wait list should this class fill up. No refunds will be offered for cancellations within two weeks of the program.Â
