Do you want to be one of the 40\,000+ children meeting the 2017-2018 Challenge\, Aqua Adventure?   All About Achieving Learning Centers is organizing 6 FIRST® LEGO®League Jr. teams to participate in the 2017-2018 season. Children\, ages 6-10\, will participate in teams of five or six. Parents will be invited to the Expo at the end of the program to see the final projects.Â
\n"The positive impact FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. has on participants is gratifying and well documented. Over 88% are more interested in doing well in school\, and 87% have more interest in attending college. JrFLL LEGO League teams get to:Â
\n·        Research challenges facing today's scientists.
\n·        Design\, build\, test and program robots using LEGO® technology.
\n·        Apply real-world math and science concepts.
\n·        Learn critical thinking\, team-building\, and presentation skills.
\n·        Participate in tournaments and celebrations.
\n·        Understand and practice Gracious Professionalism®"

\n·        a child should try to attend all practice sessions.
\n·        be able to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
\n·        want to have fun and participate!
\n​-Team meetings will occur on Thursdays. Team Meeting Dates: October 12\, 19\, 26  November 2\, 9\, 16\, 30 December 7\, 14 from 3:00pm-4:15pm or 4:30pm-5:45pm at All About Achieving Learning Centers.
\n-The EXPO will take place on December 14Â from 4:15pm - 5:00pm. This will provide parents with an opportunity to learn about JrFLL and see the final team projects.Â
The cost per child for this program is $148.00 which will include a certified teacher and all materials and supplies.
\n*We ask that parents allow their child to work on the project to completion before viewing it so that all children will be able to unveil it for the first time on December 14.Â
