SUMMARY:June 19-23 Mad Science & Robotics
DESCRIPTION:Mad Science!\nÂ \nCampers will be in a "mad" rush to spend the week with AAALC. Students will complete explosive\, entertaining and shocking science experiments using different substances and procedures. Some of these will look gross\, feel gross or smell gross. Some will simply shock and surprise. WARNING: Mad Science isn't for the faint of heart and is for students who love to explore\, explain and get dirty! Â \nÂ \nRobotics/Coding\nÂ \nRobotics and coding are becoming critical parts of the lives of today's youth. Youth are being prepared for jobs that don't yet exist and need to be prepared to think\, create and inspire! Participants will build a variety of robotic designsÂ and create computer code to make them move and emit sound. Exposure to different types of age appropriate robots\, coding experiences\, engineeringÂ and technology will enhance each child's camp experience. All participants will design several different robots\, some of which the child can take home and enjoy.
