DESCRIPTION:Robotics/Coding\nEntering Grades 1 â 7: Campers will be separated by grade level and complete age appropriate projects\nÂ \nRobotics builds science\, technology\, engineering and math skills and provides students with real world experiences\, allowing them to critically think about problems and solutions while developing programming skills and team building. AAALC robotics programs begin as young as kindergarten and encourage students to continue through high school and beyond.\nÂ \nWeebots Robotics is a program uses Lego Education WeDoâ¢ materials to provide lessons incorporating science\, technology\, engineering\, and math. Students work together in small groups to build and program working models of alligators\, ferris wheels\, drumming monkeys and more. Once programmed\, students use the model for different purposes\, experimenting with programming techniques. These educational opportunities encourage students to develop broader communication and language skills through cross curricular projects.\nÂ \nIntermediate Robotics is for students in grades 5-8 who are beginning to learn robotics and programming language. Students build and design a more complex robot\, learning advanced designing and programming techniques.\nÂ \nStudents will spend Robotics/Coding week learning to make a variety of different robots through building\, programming and coding activities. Brushbots\, drawbots\, weebots and more! Who knew you could make so many different robots?
