This camp isn't for the faint of heart and is for students who love to get dirty. Studying the chemical and physical properties of a variety of substances will create fantastic results.

\nReady\, Set\, Go! Students will learn all about transportation and locomotion as they study various means of getting around. Understand flight while observing magnetism and gravity in action. Design experiments that test force and friction. Engineer a parachute\, build and program an airplane\, design and build a glider\, design and race a toy car....oh the places we'll be able to go...with adequate transportation!

~~STOP MOTION MOVIE MAKING - LIGHTS\, CAMERA\, ACTION! Â

\nGet ready to direct your very own stop motion animated movie. Writers\, directors and producers\, ages 8 and up\, will produce their own movie by:
\n
\n
\n• writing a script
\n• creating a storyboard
\n• developing characters
\n• filming
\n• editing
\n
\n
\nStop Motion is an animation technique in which students create movies using different objects or characters. Students take a series of still photos\, moving their characters based on the script and storyboard they created. The photos are put together and played\, adding sound and special effects\, to create a moving film. Students are paired to work in teams and create their own movie from start to finish. This activity develops a variety of STEM skills. All materials\, hardware\, software and cameras are provided.

\nSpecial Consideration: Parents will be asked to pick up 20 minutes early on the last day of camp to view their student's movie.
