Campers will face their fears and study sharks through hands on – and lands on -- STEAM activities that will also introduce them to various science experiments related to the ecosystems in which sharks live. Science and engineering labs will do everything from allowing students to build and apply shark tags to dissecting one of several ocean creatures. Young marine biologists will learn about sharks\, our oceans and the animals that live in them! After you finish the week\, tune into Discovery Channel to learn even more.\n\nDNA to Dissection  (Entering 1st - 6th)                                                 \nDo you know that you can pull the DNA out of a strawberry or banana or even a fertilized chicken egg? This camp will be a week filled with science\, technology\, engineering and math skills via an a-maze-ing format!          \n\n3D Design\, Coding and Printing (Entering Grades 4th - 8th)\nStudents will learn the intricacies of 3D design and printing.  They will discover and create models through various available software programs and then prepare the model for printing on a 3D printer by making design adjustments\, creating code and managing printer functions. Various project options will be offered\, and students will bring home a final project at the end of the week. Campers will be provided with tips/tricks to use at home to continue the design portion of their learning after camp is over.
